Zoe BrownZoe Brown

Zoe’s yoga journey began 12 years ago, to just “do a bit of stretching” while training for the London Marathon. Today she is a qualified Thai Yoga teacher which is in the Yin Yoga tradition and is currently completing the British Wheel of Yoga teacher training, in the Hatha tradition. She teaches regular Yoga classes and fits in a day job too.
One of the first things she teaches the students that come to class is how to breathe and be aware of the breath, without the breath, yoga is just stretching!
Zoe will be taking us through why it’s important to breathe and to be aware of our breath in our busy everyday lives, using it to deal with stress and as a method for calming our anxiety. As an asthma sufferer she has found yoga has taught her to breathe properly, deeply and cope with the condition.
